OK this IS photography related (sort of)

Now this was blogged some time ago by my friend James Beltz at BC Photo and Phototips.biz but I only just got the chance to watch it. Another example of basic equipment and tools used to accomplish something amazing.

Here an HD Camera is sent to the edge of space with an iPhone being used as a GPS locator. The footage is amazing considering the equipment used.

It just goes to show you, you don't need fancy expensive equipment to make something cool.
