New Movie for Photographers at last!!!!!

A fellow photographer on my Facebook friend list (Reginald Guzman) shared this link to a movie trailer.

Its a drama about photojournalism with some very graphic scenes of apartheid in south africa in 1994.

We follow photo journalistic photographers as they dodge bullets and other dangers to "get the shot"

Awe inspiring trailer and I cant wait to go and see it when it finally comes out over here in the UK.

Hope you like the trailer. watch out for this one!!!!

Thanks for the heads up Reginald.

Light (or lack thereof), Composition and 2 dimensional thinking

WHAT?

A Photography related blog post from Andy Comber Photo Blog????

Surely Not I hear you cry?

But Yes it is True.

Here is a video that expands the possibilities of the quote from James Beltz which is "Photography is all about light, Composition and 2 Dimensional thinking."

Here, in this video, we are shown behind the scenes and some of the magnificent images created in the dead of night, without the use of daylight to light our subject matter.

Its true, light is of course used but it is "painted" onto subjects and scenes to create something more wonderful than can be see purely with the naked eye.

Watch this great video and be inspired to make images at night, not just in the day.

The night time hours can offer some awesome possibilities, I think you will agree
